Jesus the Christ - Ministries

"For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ." 1 Corinthians 12.12

Our purpose of the New Members' Ministry at Jesus The Christ Church is to actively engage every new member in the life of our church.

What's the point?

Sometimes we ask this question in frustration or we ask this question seeking information. The point is for each new member to interact with other new members and to see God's Will become a reality through fellowship, ministry, and connection with the life of the church and study of the word of God. In this ministry believers will discover their place of service, have an outlet for fellowship, develop deep meaningful relationships with other believers, and more importantly have an opportunity to be ministered to as we become accountable to one another. Everyone is important and it is a Biblical principle to become a part of the body of Christ.

The opportunities that await new members are unprecedented! The New Members ministry at Jesus The Christ Church is committed to touching the hearts of all our new members through effective discipleship. The theme for our class is to "Get Connected." It is important for each new member to connect, because it provides the foundation for our church. The fellowship in these classes opens the door for increased effectiveness in your transition from your old place of worship to your new church home. The classes are offered once a month on every second Saturday and cover:

• The History of Jesus The Christ Church
• What it means to be a member of Jesus The Christ Church
• Key facts about the Bible (KJV)
• The two ordinances of the Church
• Tithes and Offerings
• And the principles governing Jesus The Christ Church

What is your relationship with the body of Christ? Our Lord's desire for you is to get richly involved with fellow believers - always considering how to love and encourage one another. He is the head of the body, the church, through which He works. Let me encourage you to find your place at Jesus The Christ Church. There are so many choices.
